Through the Pope John Paul II Award, young people are enabled to take an active part in the life of their Church, in the life of their community and society. It allows young people to understand that religion and faith are not just for learning, nor are they a list of rules, but they are for living. There are four awards, the Papal Cross, Gold, Silver and Bronze. Young people can earn the award by taking part in activities through Parish involvement and social awareness.
On November 17 th, fifteen students from our school received the Gold Award from Archbishop Neary at a ceremony in Knock Basilica. We congratulate them on their achievement.
