As a European Union Ambassador School, our Transition Year students take part in a variety of EU related learning activities. The groups have recently attended a celebratory presentation for the 60th anniversary of the Treaty of Rome. To conclude this year’s programme of events, Ms. Marian Harkin, MEP visited the students to discuss her role as MEP and the potential impact of Brexit on our economy. This was Ms. Harkin's fifth year to visit the school and as a token of their appreciation, Mr. Jason Cotter's European Studies class made a special presentation to Ms. Harkin on the day.
