History was made last Saturday in Lough Rynn Regatta in Co. Leitrim when two girls from Presentation College Athenry were on the winning ladies eight. The two members of the victorious Galway crew were Katie Diviney who rowed in the 2 seat of the 8 and Hannah Lane who had the very challenging task of leading, motivating and steering the boat. 
The crew is coached by former international rower, living in Athenry for 20 years, Owen Diviney.
