Managing Your Thoughts and Remembering to Breathe
Introduction
We seem to be increasingly attached, addicted or glued to our thoughts and often it is these same thoughts that can spiral within us leading to feelings of anger, anxiety and sadness.
If we get into the practice of catching or noticing our thoughts we can break down the glue of attachment to the thoughts and the associated feelings and emotions.
The moment we notice or catch our thoughts we bring our attention away from feeling difficult emotions and, by simply focusing on our breath, we show our mind that we are in charge, not our thoughts.
